With Corvid 19 I think we need to draw the virus out of the body. Create something that is similar to the body, but matches the virus's requirements better.

 

If it responds to that and goes to it, it has a mind of its own. If it doesn't, it doesn't have a mind of its own and is a bot.

 

If it does go to it, use that as a tool to be inserted orally or put it next to the body, to pull the virus out or put it in neighbourhoods, malls, shops, etc. like a fly trap. Pull the virus into a bubble or such, a few strategically placed around the city, you could use the virus eventually to produce energy, It moves. That may not be kind enough to the virus. So, maybe, don't do that, because you must respect it. 

 

If it won't respond to that, it is a bot. Doesn't have a mind of its own and u need to out position those who are controlling it.

Another option is to create a magnet that matches the virus and will abstract it out of the body/energy area. This magnet can become a medical Hovercraft, eventually.  That can stop over an area and pull out all particles that are not wanted. It is all energy so make it have a specific code and only try to attract that code. That will also remove a bot.

Look at how beautiful this virus is on the right. Why do you hate it?. U don't have to kill everything.
