Basically, this is your timeline and pyramid, you win on it. If you are on another person or thing's timeline, they succeed on it. They want you on their timeline no matter what. That is what religion is. A way to get you below them, so they win with you on their timeline, below them.  They want to be your 'savior', by your choice, but really they use the position to offload into your field. Find me one aristocrat that converted to Catholicism. They won't because Catholics are below them on their timeline.
